Competition

As well as the keyring and valve caps for me, Russell has donated another set for the T Bar.
So any ideas for a good competition?:shrug:

Hmm probably. Let me think a while. I'll list any ideas I can come up with and I'll try to make them evenly balanced so that 'anybody' could win it. What's the timeframe for the competition?

1. Pick 5, or even 10, mgf /tf cars on ebay auctions. All guess what price they will sell for. Closest combined, final price guess wins.

2. I quite like the mad picture competition they have on .org forums. The one where they have to take a picture of something, somewhere, usually with their car in the pic. ie;- a lighthouse.

3. Write an original (optionally witty) poem about the mg, mgf, mgtf car marques.

4. Write a page on 'Why you should win the prize'. Then a poll vote or Russell decides the winner.

5. Best review submitted on an MGF/TF related product or service.

6. Put the names of every site member into a virtual hat. Advertise the draw proactively so that many new members join the site for a chance to win. Do the draw, pick a winner.

7. Create or suggest a beneficial idea for the forum / website.

8. Create or suggest an MG bumper sticker slogan.

9. In conjunction with number 4. A photo competition with one single, original photographic entry per person. Poll vote or Russell decides the winner.

10. Steal Pauls' (PQD44) stripey car, drive over Davids Nikon camera in it and tell them it was CJJ that did it. Eliminating all competition for me to win this prize and sell it to McCalmont. :woohoo:

How about "LET SOMEONE ELSE WIN". Only reason is that I'm not really a MG history buff, facinating as it is. I've really picked up a lot of knowledge recently and thank you very much for that. However, I think that if one of the "guests" were to read the link, might they not think we were a bit nerdy. Don't want to upset anyone.........

As you all know I'm not really one for competitions :whistle: but of the L Ping suggestions I think No. 2, the take a photo with your MG in some odd situation is a good one and one that everybody could take part in, even the non-nerds, if their not too sensible.

1. Recruit a hundred plus forum friends by sending a friend request to every member, past and present.
2. Increase members visits to the site by doing so.
