I have recently changed seats in my MGTF from standard to LE 500 -leather. My problem is the colour code from the old seats to the new seats differ to get the SRS system to work. On the passenger seat i have the colours green/white and purple/white and from the car loom i have orange, blue/orange. On the drivers seat i have 2 blacks joined to one connector and a black/white, purple/white on another connector and from the car's loom i have brown, brown/red.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for conversion or info on transfer of colours?

Welcome Cart64. :)

Have you checked the how to's and downloads section? The latter has some manuals for download. But I'm not sure if the one that would help you is in there. You would have to take a look. They're all free for members downloads.

There's some electrical manuals for download under the community tab up above. Hopefully that might help.

Can you not swap the seat belt pretensioners between the seats? Or is the fitting different?

And :welcome2:

Welcome to the Forum :woohoo:

Send a private message to Dazlightyear (Pocket Motors) and he will be able to tell you, he refurbishes Fs and TFs for a living  or get his contact details from the Glovebox ;)

Just got my December edition of MG Enthusiast and there is an article in there by Martin Smith (MGF & TF spares supplier) and he says that the tensioners have to be swapped over because of the wiring and DONT alter the wiring!! he also states " it is essential that the battery is disconnected (both terminals) and components are not removed eg seats or steering wheel, for at least 45 minutes. THIS ALLOWS ENOUGH TIME FOR THE SRS TO DISCHARGE AND AVOID POTENTIAL PROBLEMS.
Hope this helps. :yesnod:

Yes the tensioners have to be swapped over, according to Martin Smith the wiring should not be altered :broon:
