A matching set of decent tires in the proper size?
My car wears Toyo T1Rs in the summer and it corners like a go-kart.
I have just put winter tires on and it tends to wallow a bit with them.

try tyres first.
Home to black Alfa Romeo 159 3.2 V6 Q4 ,green MGF VVC and red MG Maestro T16.

I would suggest a couple of things to start with after checking tyre pressure;
1.) Ride height. Take a look at this thread
2.) I would also be tempted to jack up the front and check for play in the ball joints/wheel bearings/track rod ends
What ever it is don't worry well get you sorted. :broon:

Hi and welcome to the forum. :woohoo:
Tyres are the first thing, what make of tyres are on the car and the sizes please, the information is on the sidewall and the fronts are a different size to the rears.
Next is the pressures. what are they at.
Next is ride height, measure from the centre of the wheel to the arch and tell us what it is.
Can you give me the full VIN SARR............... and i can check model details.
as Paul has said check the suspension and bearings by jacking up.
Do it one thing at a time, tyres first, because i think this is the most likely fault.

One of the other things is to have four wheel tracking done to make sure the car is set up correctly :broon:

WHAT MAKE ARE THE TYRES??? The MGF was designed to run on Goodyear NCT tyres ONLY and some other makes of tyre can cause it to be skittish.
BOUNCE ~ sounds like shock absorbers. are they OEM or adjustables?
WHAT IS THE RIDE HEIGHT DIMENSION ??
HAS THE FOUR WHEEL TRACKING BEEN DONE?
Are you going to give me the VIN so i can check its build details.
Did you check the wheel bearings for play?
Does the EPAS steering pull to the left?
