I replaced mine this fall with one I got from MGOC that looks like the second one you have a picture of, I believe it came in a Q&H box. Are these ones known not to hold pressure or to fail prematurely?

What does it look like underneath?
This?
If so they do fail prematurely.
I tried a yellow version similar to the second shape, the underside/inside looks like this
The pressure is controlled by these springs
Not too impressive either.
The underneath of the OEM has a brass insert in the centre.
