Killed my Daily drive today
and the car which pulled out infront of me!
Learnt my car [strike]has[/strike] had one feature that should be standard, the car put the hazards on and automaticily then rang the emergancy services and reported the accident and my current position. Whilst i could have done that myself today, Just thinking hiting a tree or something in the dead of night with nobody else about, that feature could be a life saver.

Glad that hopefully nobody was injured.
What a fantastic facility that BMW has  I have never heard of that before, mind you I'm just getting to grips with using a mobile phone, so no surprises there.
The plonker in the Punto may have been able to see you if they didn't have bl**dy great big furry dice hanging from the rear view mirror.

Oddly in the BMW i'm so well cocooned , other than the damage i wouldn't know i'd been in an accident , the car absorbed all the impact i felt nothing.
Big bruise on my arm from the air bag, and currently drinking lots of sugery tea

Probably, Made to crumple and direct the shock through car, Doubt the other way round.
Windscreen is cracked so frame must be twisted, Don't think that was my head

as said the more a car crumples the better as it absorbs the energy rather than you, where as most peeps think wrongly that the less a car crumples the better.
You had thoughts on a replacement yet?
