For the completely clueless of us out there what's the best way to de-rust? Just a bit of sandpaper or is there a tool in with the kit?
I'm trying Fertan which seems to get excellent reviews. To early for me to confirm...

Oh dear, only jsut saw this., If it helps I have done EXACTLY the same thing , luckily I was only going about 20 when the bonnet flipped up and hit the windscreen. never did get it fixed (apart from the brackets where were BRG until the late Maggie left us).
