Get your wife to clear the snow and ice before you set off. Problem solved :broon:

I put it in the garage tonight. But I should have left it out to freeze really, as I need to test that 'defroster mod' and take some pics. Last week I left it in the garage with the roof down, warmed it up and set off in the cold to see how effective that airscarf is at keeping you warm. It works well at doing what it does and it's great to enjoy the open air when the weather is cold but still dry.

Generally, if the car is left outside I usually let it warm up, idling for 5, 10 minutes or so with the blower on full. Sometimes I put it in the garage if I know it will freeze over night. If I'm coming out of work at night then it's a scrape and de-icer spray job. Cheers Ray, you've reminded me I need a new scraper. I've used up all my old cassette tapes and boxes. :)

Scraper and de-icer here. :yesnod:
Any cover would probably blow off and disappear. :(

Credit Cards are good too, especially the duplicate that the "other half" uses :omg:

Hi Ray

Joys of working for Royal Mail. Just get 2 mailsacks, start wipers and switch off ignition so wipers are parked in upright position, open both car doors slip one end of a mailsack just inside of car door on each side, shut door to hold in position. overlap both sacks and use wipers to keep sacks flat against windscreen. Lock car. Job done for free.

Cheers

Alan
