Santa's Sack. What did you get?
Pair of brushed door pins, brushed heater and clock rings, brushed vent covers, Renovo Waterproofer, a nice metal MG badge to go on the Tbar between the seats and replace the tacky plastic one that's there at the moment and a packet of stainless steel bolts and washers for under the bonnet.
Thank you Santa.

Posted 12 years 11 months ago #34369How's about a 'how to' on that? You never know, you might just be right and get lucky. That would be worth sharing.Tsleight wrote: Now all I need for New Year is to fix overheating problem after work above! I'll see what I can do! Depends what the weather is like when I get around to it, at in-laws until later in the week... It is different symptoms to the original "steam" which was a split hose (thick angled hose between engine and seats), so I'm hoping the HG is still OK...

What are the symptoms precisely?

Posted 12 years 11 months ago #34391I didn't get anything strictly MG related but I did get some seriously cool stuff for Christmas from my lovely wife!
I let on that I had a wish list on E-Bay so she placed her first bid ever on two items, hoping to win one of them.
I am happy to say that she won both! :woohoo: She learned a lesson about bidding and I got some new toys!
The first was a nice 1:43 scale model of a 2008 McLaren Mercedes Formula One Car.....Signed by Lewis Hamilton
(It's better than it looks here. The sunlight pops on every pore in the perspex cover)
That's a Woo-Hoo right there, but not the best thing I got
The big gift was a helmet signed by 16 current Formula One Drivers and "Celebrities" Everyone from Hamilton to Sebastian Buemi with Bernie's name on there for good measure That's a double Woo-Hoo!! :woohoo: :woohoo:
