I didn't get anything strictly MG related but I did get some seriously cool stuff for Christmas from my lovely wife!
I let on that I had a wish list on E-Bay so she placed her first bis ever on two items, hoping to win one of them.
I am happy to say that she won both! :woohoo: She learned a lesson about bidding and I got some new toys!
The first was a nice 1:43 scale model of a McLaren Mercedes Formula One Car.....Signed by Lewis Hamilton
That's a Woo-Hoo right there, but not the best thing I got
The big gift was a helmet signed by 16 current Formula One Drivers and "Celebrities" Everyone from Hamilton to Sebastian Buemi with Bernie's name on there for good measure That's a double Woo-Hoo!! :woohoo: :woohoo:
OMG, I am so jealous! :omg: :omg: :yesnod:

Posted 12 years 11 months ago #34394I am not the only one in our household to score big this weekend. My future Son-in-Law mentioned to his boss that it was a shame that the boss's Porsche Carrera Cabrio 4S had been sitting in the yard without being driven for the last couple of months.
The boss threw him the keys and said "Take it for the weekend." It's been here for the last couple of days and the level of paranoia has risen greatly with such an expensive car in the driveway. Tomorrow we are going to take it out and see what it will do. (For the good of the car of course...An Italian tune-up will be good for it after sittng for so long-Really! :woohoo: )
Nice that they match isn't it!
Of course having sports cars and a white helmet meant digging out the "I am the Stig" shirt!

Posted 12 years 11 months ago #34399The only motor related presents were a copy of Classic Car Mechanics from Father Christmas and a remote control helicoptor from Mrs TC, now that is fun. :bust:
And I did win on the Euro-millions draw on Friday. :woohoo:

When you say win, was it a win , a win, or a WIN?

It's the second win I've had on the lottery ever and is slightly smaller than the first win which was £10.
