One of the huge problems that the MGF suffers from is wind noise when the roof is removed. The boffins at MGR could not even get a simple thing like this fixed when they came up with the MG TF and now even the Chinese have failed to solve the problem. The new TF, the LE 500 and the TF 85 all suffer horrendously with wind.

Here are a few tip to cut down on wind noise.........

1 Drive slower
2 Eat less Brussel Sprouts with your Christmas dinner
3 Super glue the front part of the soft top to the wind screen surround thus rendering it un removable.

Early in the production of the F some independent company's came up with a few very clever accessory's to help with the problem............

These can help but they do tend to get stuck in your ear if you push them in to far

Surgical ear enlargement to allow you to still hear what your passenger is saying was of limited success..........

This is a good option but only if you have 4 arms due to it be difficult to keep the car in a straight line using only your knees to steer

Ear wrapping can help but you will look stupid

Another good idea but a very uncool look

Setting one of these off in your wardrobe while you are sitting in it can muffle the wind noise for up to 100 miles
