After replacing the TREs and ball joint on Dora for her MOT i needed the tracking( 4 wheel laser camber/caster) redone. the MOT tester recommended this place http://www.phoenixmotorsports.co.uk/ in Accrington.

well after spending a very enjoyable morning in the company of Ollie (the owner) i can whole heartedly recommend them to other owners.

Looking at the website it seemed as if they were good set up and i wasn't dissapointed!!

You know you're somewhere special when you walk in and someone is repairing a bent bumper on a vx220 and parked up are a couple of lotus elises, a GT40 replica half built, an ex Le Mans Porsche being rebuilt, a classic Elan being restored, a racing car (F1 style) on the upper floor and a Mini having a Yamaha R1 engine fitted!!!!!

Ollie was a very friendly chap who certainly knows his stuff having travelled the world with professional motorsport teams before settling down and opening his own garage.

They have all the gear to do any jobs you could want, usually have all service items in stock and are more than happy to just offer advice.

Just a word of warning........ its cash or cheque only..... gues who had neither :nonod:

I'll certainly be going back if there's any jobs i need a hand with in the future

oh and it was £70 for the tracking done, same price as the last time at HiQ in Lancaster but a lot nearer for us and no disrespect to the lads at HiQ but done by a proper mechanic :yesnod:

ps i may be a bit biased as he said Dora was a very nice car :P
