Normally I'm not the type to get worked up about films but having just watched Terminator Salvation all I can say is wow! What an epic fail! Could Christian Bale be any more self aggrandizing? Could the plot make any less sense? Talk about a poor imitation of the real thing! :slam:

All I can say is Bale - you fail! I'm not sure where along the line he went from being a great actor to an egotistical, husky voiced, piece of driftwood but what a damn shame. Sadly I think he's believing is own hype and clearly wants everyone to believe it to particularly after his little tirade on the set! :shake:

(contains a lot of expletives!)

What an arse!

Yup, I actually feel offended, personally, that I have wasted 2 hours of my life watching that film!!!

Terminator ****vation had about as much appeal as having my left foot cut off and fed to the local stray dog, in fact may I just recommend that someone should do that instead of hiring/buying this poor knock-off of what was once a awesome franchise! **** script, no charactor development and a cast that looked as interested in the payday then in actually making the film!

At the end it said 'In loving memory of Stan Winston'...well if that was bloody true then they would have had 'real' Terminators (like the first 3 films) and not cheaply, done, unrealistic and frankly insulting CGI Endo's! Stan Winston was a genius in the film/robot genre and this film and almost everything about it was an insult to his memory!

The best thing about the film was the brief apperence of Ahnold...and that was CGI...lets take a moment and let that sink in, the best part of this multi million dollar 'blockbuster' was a 5 second appearence of an actor who had Ahnold's face CGI's over his own!!

That feels better :)

You didn't like it then?

Now shut up as I have it sitting in my BR drive on this laptop and will be watching tonight. Would have watched it last night, but as with all things modern, it wouldn't play until it had done a 12Mb download and I didn't have a connection. Ain't technology great?

Oh dear... I'll save you wasting 2 hours of your life now by telling you it was over acted, over CGI'd and massively over indulgent. Remember you can't get those 2 hours of your life back so seriously consider what you do next! There is no fate but what we make! :yesnod:

it doesnt surprise me that its duff really, when they stray from the original and start running out of ideas, the original actors arent involved etc etc its then time to turn your talents to a completely new idea.

I dont suppose anyone saw "Paradox" last night on the beeb?

its a short 5 part sci fi drama series.

I thought it wasnt bad considering the brits and in particular the beeb are normally soooo bad at this type of thing :)
