Removing Carpet.. Wet!
Before I resign myself to leaving the F in the garage all winter, only because it seems to leak like the proverbial sieve, water in, not out thankfully.
Can anyone give me a clue as to how to get the carpet out to dry it?
Both footwells are soaking, but the roof is fine, no water coming in via the mirrors and over the speakers so any other good ideas as to where it may be getting in would be greatfully appreciated.
The car is normally parked on thed rive which slopes uphill and today when I reversed it out ( in the dry for once) water was released from somewhere so it's not draining away.
I could always reverse it into the drive I suppose!
Older but certainly not wiser!

you'll need to remove the seats to get the carpet out.Swerving;4686 wrote: Hi all,

When you say released did you hear roughly where from?
As said it's a seats out job to remove the carpets, but a very worthwhile excercise as your seat bases will most likely have started to rust too and will need some attention before it damages them.
