What is this car and its name ?
Why was it built and by whom ?
What was it's top speed and bhp ?
What would it's current value be ?
And finally it's significance in MG history ?

- Not sure what you are looking for really Jan. It was the start of MG as we know it today. I think Cecil Kimber was given the reins to start building sports cars for the MG Car Company founded in 1928 following the development of Old Number 1. The Comapny moved to Abingdon in 1929 and Cecil Kimber became MD in 1930Softly~Softly wrote:

Why was it built and by whom ? Cecil Kimber had it built for he 1925 Lands End Trial, based on a Morris Bull nosed Chasis
What was it's top speed and bhp ? 11.9 hp from a special overhead valve Hotchkiss with a capacity of 1548cc.
What would it's current value be ? I'd take a guess at around £250,000, Cecil Kimber bought it after wining a Gold meal at the Trial for £300, but an MG Car Company employee bought from a barn in Manchester for £15 in 1932
And finally it's significance in MG history ?
