Paul, are you saying Jan's DONT look ok? Are you saying that as the official ones as YP has are just ok and they get your recommendation, that these still make Jan's look INFERIOR? ;) :omg:

On my 4x4, which I used to take off roading, I had very large mud flaps fitted for a good reason.

On the F/TF I don't really get the point of them. I wash the car once a week and it doesn't suffer from large amounts of mud between washes.

I love my stripes but if we took a poll and ask people I'm sure the majority would say 'No don't fit them'.

So Whiz in answer to your ..... comments, ..... every man or women to their own, it's your car, fit what pleases you and you like. The great thing is we all like different combinations and hence the wonderful variety of cars we see on runs.

Just don't spend £100 on flaps, that sounds criminal to me

It's a no from me. :)

But, like hardtops, they work for some and they can look quite pleasing. Each to their own I guess. Personalising your own car is part of standing out in the MG crowd. Oh Gawd.. don't start me on slogans again.

Haha I wasn't trying to get you in trouble, honest :-P
But I do agree £100 sounds steep

Had front and rear black flaps on mine when I bought it, have the MG logo but not coloured, I like Softly's and will perhaps colour my logos. The flaps do stop a bit of muck on the car, never had any problems with them breaking or splitting even with all the traffic calming ideas around here.

I'm not a massive fan of mud flaps, but Jan's do look superb and tie in with Madam really well. YPs look good too as they don't draw any attention. They do make a big difference to mud spatter..
