Woohoo! Potential jobs on the horizon! WHICH WE NOW HAVE!!!!!!!

Wow what a long day!

Well I don't know if I'm jinxing myself but I think we did quite well! The job sounds fantastic & so does the company so hopefully we'll get the jobs! They are taking on a few people so that increases our chances! :woo2:

Apparently we will hear in 7-10 days & possibly sooner. So cue me jumping every time the phone rings for the next week! :lol:

I must admit it's days like this when I think of selling Slave 1 for a car with better handling! She got stuck in the ice halfway through pulling out of our garage then she almost skidded 3 times on the motorway & kept wobbling! I'd give anything for a car that didn't turn into an elephant on rollerskates when it's icy!

There is no such car. They all handle like pigs in icy conditions, even 4x4s, in fact they can be worse due to being top heavy.

But do you not thing that there are other cars out there that handle better? Was on the motorway & so many cars were zooming past but with Slave being so skittish I just sat in the slow lane looking rather pathetic!

I'm running on Toyos at the mo. Don't get me wrong Toyos are the best I've tried and the back tyres are on legal minimum so I'm sure that won't help but can't afford new ones yet. Just wonder if I'm being oversensitive but she just seems to fall to pieces handling wise in this weather. :frown:

It took me three attempts to even turn Flopsy round today so that I can get off the estate. Loads of wheel spinning and sliding sideways, so after turning round, I abandoned her again ans went back inside!
