Personal Plates-Cool Or Sad?

I have one on my Suzuki Swift and would like to get one for the MG, but are they cool on older cars? It might be better to leave thing more original I am thinking. The motorbike scene does not appear to have gone down this route to a great extent but I do like to be a bit individual. I am very tempted to get one.
Wat ya fink :dunno:

I know there is an argument as to whether they should be personal to the car or to the driver but either way it is the best way to hide the age of your car

I think it depends on whether you go down the sad (and illegal) adding of spaces and screw caps to make the word you want.
It also depends on what the plate says really.
MGF1 would be pretty cool, but some others just aren't.

With you on that mate...it always make me shake my head when I see yet another Corsa, which has changed it licence plate to Chav1 (or something) through the use of screws :shake:

very true, however as everything else is as it should be, its only the plates that would be the problem, hey ho just have to replace them if it does happen:whistle:
