Well can now confirm the TF kit they sell is a straight fit.. (Just gear box bolt 80mm in kit and should be 120mm but they are sorting this)

Cam belt end... The bar and bracket get chucked

Gearbox end (I seam welded the mount) Vibra Technics mount goes into this

Lower engine mount

The kit supplied is a straight bolt on with no alterations required

I like them....I think I need to replace the engine mounts on my little "F" but somehow I don't think I'll be investing in anything that elaborate.

I'll probably end up getting the standard ones as, well I don't know, are there any alternatives I wonder, and do you need to drop the subframe.

Looking good now Allan, glad to see your up and at it.

You can replace them without dropping the subframe..

Undo lower engine mount... Then you can jack up the engine to get the cam belt end one out (most common one that fails) its a fiddle but I've done one..

There are no alternatives... Yet.. But someone on here is looking to develop a polybushed item..

The factory standard ones are ok.. But if you plan big power or hard track days it makes sense to fit the best

Elise parts do a polybushed mount.. But no idea if it fits the F/TF without modding
