Just a quick fit together erm.. I think I have made it irreversible so will have to make sure im happy before final fixing,, heres some pics

That bracket that gets in the way is just for the steering column on left hand drive vehicles.

An angle grinder would soon 'tidy' that up. Just a thought.:shrug:

I looked into hole behind the blank and dismissed it as impractical: think again John!
Looking good Craig, where is the surround from please?

Craig,
looking at yours again, have you tried to get one from a Volvo, they are twice that size. I just thought a bigger one would suit then you could leave the floor free for passengers to get in.LOL :whistle:

lol tone...... thats my weekday look haha, dont have passengers during the week, just newspapers and tools from working on car during lunch lol

I've got one in the garage but guna grind them lips off how flush is it / how much of the back was cut

about 38mm and yes the curve of the edges dont match the dash so some fettling still needed
