Well, today was a big day for DeepBlue.
The final bits have been bolted back together and the car was test run for about 30 minutes to make sure the twin fans work.
All successful, so next week I will be looking at getting her MOT'd. The only downside is that while she has had no battery she has developed an SRS fault as the light is on. Don't know if this is a result of having no battery for so long or just one of the connections.
Anyway, last week I was replacing the useless plastic scrivets, that hold the front wheel arch liners, with stainless steel rivnuts and stainless bolts.
I also replaced the rubbish tapped studs and plastic nuts that hold the plastic trim in place over the washer battle etc, again with stainless studs and nuts.
The spare wheel and other bits and bobs were put back in place for the test.
I still have to put the engine cover back on and clear the tools out of the car, but that is it.
