I need to replace it.


It is the round one on the interior fuse board.

The part number for the relay is DJP8473

Its driving me potty now (OCD Alert!)
I picked one up from a breakers, Slater Bros in Brum, Surly but cheap!
I honestly cant tell any difference. Everything seemed to be working before and after. :nonod:

1.I was tracking an electrical fault without success and with a shortage of time and patience.
2.it was hot in the panel everything else checked out fine.
3. and this is the most important bit...... I separated the top from the bottom

Bizarrely I checked the indicators and they were working when the unit was in the boot.

This is what I found.

Unless it means Headlamp flasher unit. Try main beam/dip

I can confirm it is the cigar lighter relay.
Between deluges I removed the replacement and no power to cigar lighter. I was going to prove by moving R1 but I couldn't get it out and the rain started again. There must be a clip holding R1 in I will take a better look in the dry with a torch.
I wouldn't mind betting R1 is the indicator relay and the "map is not the territory". Thanks for your help and the image David
