Thanks for the quick reply David and welcoming me to the group,
I have just done what you said after start up revs are around 820 to 850 monitoring using obd app.

I also have on fault code for the cam shaft position sensor p0340

It should be pretty steady at 850 with a hot engine, certainly not as low as 820.

Thanks David it seems to be idling okay though and since cleaning the iacv it doesn’t try to stall when going from high idle when cold to normal idle.
I think I will leave it how it is for now.
