Its basically a too stage process which is applied to bare metal. First you spray on the zinc primer which is zinc suspended in a paint which forms a chemical bond with the metal. So its a chemical equivalent to galvanising without the heat issues. Then you coat it with the Amercoat which is a clear spray on polymer paint which is corrosion,chemical and fire resistant. Moderately expensive but hyper effective. Simples!!!

that sounds worth the expense mind, so the underling metal is essentially protected twice? by a layer of zinc and by the paint?
and I'm guessing the paint is extremely chip resistant as it's polymer?
