Hi Martin did you have the alloy throttle body fitted or was in already on the car

Now I can see what is ment about getting cold air to the cone filter from your pics it all makes sense now

I fitted a vadar closed kit to my 95 F, makes a hell of a difference in both performance and noise..... ;) cold feed fed from passenger side vent thru to filter........quick tip. \i bought the cold feed pipe from B&Q for £8

The throttle body is a standard 48mm, car is 2001 so its alloy as standard. Ive got a nice 52mm one from Mr Maltby to go on when i get some time. :-)

All i put on mine was a cheap ripspeed stainless cone air filter onto a 52mm throttle body & as with truckerclarky bought a piece of ducting pipe from B&Q & put it to the side vent which now has the added air intake scoops hope this helps B)

What material is the ducting?

Not 100% on the exact material but it's just flexi pipe in plastic almost the same as used by K&N hope this helps in some way

The stuff I got is like a strengthened aluminium foil type stuff, Its suitable for both hot air and cool air ventilation.
