Sound deadening/underlay material
Hi - does anyone know where I can buy a similar type material/thickness? My project car has been allowed to get wet in the past and the material under the carpets and on top of the engine cover is a bit worse for wear. Tries Woolies Trim and can't see anything similar so looking for other ideas.
Thanks,
JeffH

Try a search on ebay for MGF sound dead..
It came up with a few bits and bobs, including a full under carpet set for about £25

My first thought was Woolies but any kit car parts supplier should be able to help.
Home to black Alfa Romeo 159 3.2 V6 Q4 ,green MGF VVC and red MG Maestro T16.
MG - the friendly marque.

I know this is a bit of a necropost, but my MGF has the same issue.
Does anyone have experience with this "Carpet Insulation Kit" from Rimmer Bros? https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-RP1109
Or other suggestions?

Try contacting the MGF Centre. They seem to have access to a network of used MGF / TF parts. They may be able to sell you used factory sound deadening material. It would not appear on their website. Just call them.
