Hi Gang, been a while since I last posted. Decided to replace the original exhaust back box on the TF. Wanted something refined and not too boy-racerish. Plumped for the MGOC 'Double S' Super Sport. Excellent sounding unit providing a sports car note and no complaints from the neighbours. Very impressed with it and comes highly recommended. Also fitted a stainless steel rear bumper mesh to complete the look.

Out of interest, does anyone know if the Double S exhaust system sold by MGOC is the same as that produced by
Double S Exhausts in Somerset
. I only ask because mine is from the Somerset outfit.
And sounds and looks really nice BTW. Bit of a boom at about 2700 rpm but quiet enough at motorway speeds and slightly throaty at higher rpm

I have to agree with you smoothyman I have the same back box fitted to my TF 160. It is a nice sounding unit without being to loud, and gives off a nice rasp at the top end of the rev range. I also fitted a piper cross panel air filter that also adds to the sound.
I would recommend the super sports unit to anyone :broon: :drive: :broon:
