everything thing went perfect :bounce::bounce:
all the nuts and bolts slackened off ok, no swearing, no tantrums and NO grinder required :woohoo::woohoo::woo::woo:
i now have a very nice sounding car :yesnod:

Things went as expected, ..............I had to grind the three bolts off as the nuts were amorphous lumps of rust.
The two nuts holding the right hand hanger were seized and despite copious amounts of penetrating oil they refused to budge, and finally both bolts sheared off.
Finally, the large nut and bolt holding the clamp together was also seized solid and had to be ground off.
So just what I expected really!:yesnod:
Having said that, the whole operation was done in less than an hour, and now we have a very nice sounding MGF.
Oh, and a pile of rusty scrap metal that was the old exhaust system.:bubbles:

thats about how i was expecting it to go, i had been soaking the nuts for the last couple of days with 3in1 penetrating oil so maybe that helped :yesnod:
its totally transformed the driving experience, maybe a bit louder then i would have liked..... but stuff the neighbours :rofl:
