MGTF JACK POINT QUERY
Hi all,
just wondered if anyone was also using the part( marked in red in my attachment ) as there rear jacking point for a MGTF?
Since the demise of my MGF (which had the usual handy welded loop jack point on the rera subframe) I have been looking for an alternate rear jacking point ( my 2005 MGTF doesnt possess the jacking loops) and whilst doing some work underneath recently I noticed that the afore mentioned centre mount is welded to the subframe .
I jacked up using this point and all went well as I supposed it should which enabled me to put in axle stands for any future work..

I've always used that as the jacking point, but put axle stands under the rear subframe before going under the car, my garage is very narrow, so no room to jack the car at the side.
