Iv'e recently purchased some spots, and got a fog light switch and the wiring from a Rover 25 from a scrappy which fits perfectly in a spare hole I've got next to my other switches, the problem is the lights work if I keep the button pressed in but go out when I take my finger off, where am I going wrong? I'm not certain either which wire is which as there are 4
Help please

I believe the front and rear fog switches act differently.
The front is a simple push on/ push off type.
The rear is push to make switch that engages/disengages a relay.

So I suspect you have a rear fog switch.:dunno:
