Hi I have to admit that I struggle to tell the difference between tires, maybe that's some of the cars I have but a while ago I bought some Nokian snow tires for my Citroen C5 exclusive the one you can raise and lower. Well this week had chance to actually try them 13.5 to 15 inches of snow lifted suspension and actually just drove away totally amazed these things are brilliant when you need them. I won't be without snow tires again. Just thought I would share.

I put a pair on the front of my ZT-T a month or so back, had the chance to test them out last night and they were superb in the snow.
Not so good on warmer days and the handling is not as precise when driving on normal clear roads, but totally in another league when in snow.

I would not entertain them on my TF, but I have the ZT-T now for running about in the snow...I learned a long time ago that TF's and snow are a no no!

Yes tf salt and snow is not a good mixture....thought about snow tyres...but recently had 2 new tyres to the front of my mazda 6..costing a little under £150 each..I will stick with them...with front wheel drive and traction control plus abs...pleased with them in the white stuff.

Please, get two more winter tires for the rear as well. Putting snow tires only on the front is very dangerous because it gives the front wheels more grip than the rear, which, under braking specifically, can cause the rear to come around and be at the front in an instance.
