Headlights
So I have an 03 cool blue. I changed the bulbs in the headlights and they are a bit meh but high beam is dreadful. If I stand outside the car the difference is noticeable but when driving there is almost no change.
Has anyone any suggestions for assitance. Any thing would be much appreciated.

I fitted nightbreakers and there was a small, but noticeable improvement.
Are plastic lenses in good condition and not crazed or cloudy? Will make a big difference.
Are bulbs correctly installed, again can make a big difference (from experience)
Have you had the beam checked and adjusted?
The MOT just checks that they are not too high, so could be low.
If in doubt take to good garage and ask specifically to accurately align the headlights to specification.

Thanks.G0RSQ wrote: Headlight strength was never a strong point of the TF, but certainly should not be "bad".

Try T cutting the lenses to remove any bloom. And inspect the reflectors for deterioration.
It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

I "think" the headlights are in really good condition I'll double check at the weekend as I'm away at the moment. I'll look into osrams had them in an old Scooby and they were better than standard.

But I am not sure if this is a difficult modification for the TF
