Jacking the car up at the front towing eyes
In need to jack my MGTF up, at the roadside. I saw a diagram with jacking points, where also the front towing eyes are indicated as jacking points. Does anyone have any experience in actually using these towing eyes to jack up the car with a hydraulic floor jack ?
These are rather well accessible, so if it works, it could be a good spot.
Thanks
Kind regards
Theo

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

When working on the car I use the lashing points for jacking purposes; I use wooden chocks as stands & pump the jack up until I can slide the blocks in, then take the tension off. I use blocks as opposed to stands as the load is spread over a greater area, top & bottom.
