Well the sun is out today folks...roof down weather it is...went out on maiden voyage this morning to my mates ranch in stone and then on to the hope valley in the peak district...roof down all the way...stopped at Rudyard lake where the sun was beaming down..tf handled well with no bother...

Passed a mgtf at Rudyard...it was a twin of mine in trophy blue..never saw anymore they were mainly mx5 owners out today...couple of slk merc. .and a ragtop herald...rare has rocking horse.

I'm in sunny Florida and have just seen a beautiful red MGA with racing screens zooming away from the lights.
I'm also very envious of the convertible Mustangs that seem to be everywhere.

Triumph Herald. My parents had one when I was little, it's the first car I remember. They then inherited a soft top version when a great aunt died so traded both in for a brand new Ford Zephyr 2.0 V4.

My mrs had the vitesse version ..she once went down a local steep bank in it (Froghall bank) and the brakes failed on desending down ....and she is the only person I know that's had to use one of those escape lanes ...the one where you drive into gravel....I've been down the same bank in my mg and tried to imagine what it was like to realise your brakes had gone and have to take action...scary..
