Yes , that's the very same Sutton Bank and yes that's spot on with the tight left hander where the hill is very steep . We passed a sign a couple of miles away that said caravans banned ! That's how bad it is . Wonderful views from the top near Sutton Bank gliding club .

I think on the final part of Sutton bank my revs were sky high ...how did the mgtf cope with the mighty Sutton bank john?

I think half of the time we rely on obd2 diognostics when really the multimeter should come into play and do some simple checks on those ht leads/spark plug wires.

The TF took Sutton Bank in its stride . As we rounded the tight left hand bend , the road really takes you by surprise as to how steep it becomes . That 'K series has its faults but it really does impress me with its power . Our car hasn't been chipped and I know that some on the Bar do extoll the benefits of having it done but I'm quite happy how it is without .
I have lost track with this miss of yours . Is this the second set of leads you have fitted recently?

The miss...no I had changed the coil packs and spark plugs last year....I confirmed 1 coil pack was faulty by swapping them around and getting the fault to move from cyl bank 1 to bank 2...this was further confirmed by fitting the faulty pack to a freelander...
The new spark plugs and packs cured the fault.....so I left the ht leads alone....the car run very well and has covered a descent fault free mileage untill a few days ago....I tried swapping the new coil packs over like last time and swapped the ht leads around only....this I thought had cured it has I gave it several checks on the diognostics just revving the engine.....the proof was in the pudding taking it on the road.has the misfire was there intermittent..sometime a mile or so before another misfire would occur.bought new ht leads for the first time today and road tested it with no problems.....if I had bought the ht leads with the plugs and packs last year....well then I wouldn't be writing this now...but hey no bother it didn't take much to put a set of new leads on.......the tf stops in the garage now untill next weekend has I drive a van to work...so next weekend I will be back out in the tropical sunshine again...with the Mrs and not the miss........I mean the misfire

Quick graham...nip down the offy and get a can....there's more....after removing a ht lead the end came away....I since watched the vid on youtube for checking ht leads...proving a break in continuity in the old lead...that's it for now....don't want to turn graham to drink!
