bluestreak: the badge was delivered today and is now on the car. The one you suggested was perfect so your not in trouble! Thanks again for your advice. There were two pins on the back; a large one at the top and a small one at the bottom. However as sworks thought, they were only for location which to me seems a bit daft, the badge is actually held on by adhesive on the back. It seems to be very solid and looks fine, but why not make the pins none returnable?

Mr Bluestreak, thanks for the shots of the Riley's and Wolseley's . Going a bit off the topic here but before I was married ( many moons ago ) my girlfriend and I both owned Wolseley Hornet's . Monday just gone we entered our Mini into the Leeds MG and Classic car club pride of ownership get together and got 3rd place behind a Riley Elf with 1st going to a Fiat Cinquecento.
