NO!

Undo both sides of the anti-roll bar, and it can pivot down.

I did mine with no issue, but does need the rear anti-roll bar disconnecting to remove the shocks/springs.

Your question seemed to be just about doing the back springs by yourself!

You could try disconnecting the anti-roll bar from both sides first, then jack one side of car up, anti-roll bar might then swivel out of the way, but I have not tried this before!

To do the back springs it is normal to lift the rear of the car up and onto axle stands.

If you are on a good, level surface it is not difficult to lift both ends onto axle stands, but only if you are confident and comfortable doing this.

Lift front of car onto axle stands first, then jack, with good trolly jack, under central jacking point at rear and put rear on stands. Not for the faint hearted!

Do not lower the car with springs removed. You will not get the jack out!

Hopefully garage will sort out for you, so you do not need to do this.

Yes the rear anti roll bar will pivot easily once disconnected from both the rear wheels.
The shockers come out easy with it pivoted out of the way. Just remember that there is a fat washer, rubber bushes and a spigot washer to put back in, so if you do it,remember which order they come out....
