Yeah me too...

It's from the seals section https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-GRID019024 but I really can't picture where the bush goes and I've had pretty much every last but and bolt out of mine at one time or another

Goes just behind the T-bar under the the Hood hinge , Part 34 is blue screw hole thing pressed into the body, one on each side

I don't think I have those, but then I have a big solid box section welded over the T-bar with bracing for my hoops (mine are structural not cosmetic. I also only have three clips not five at the back holding the back of the hood downfor the same reason)

What does it do? I'm guessing it holds the seals in place..

Thats the problem, I've no clue what it does, Its to low for the seals.

looks like it is for a seal
its described as Clamp-convertible hood seal "b" post hoodwell

I'll take a picture when i'm back from holiday incase i'm not describing it right, All though looking at pictures of shells i can't see it, Wondering if its just MY2000 thing and dissapeared on the TF again

According to Rimmer's website, its a MY2000 onward item.

Is that part and the screw used to keep the rubber seal attached to the body at the hood pivot point? I know on our 1995 MGFs there is a flap of rubber seal that gets tucked under at the hood hinge point just aft of the door.
