MGTF Instruments
Hi All Has anyone ugraded their instruments to the re-designed Chinese instruments?
I believe it is possible on TF's 2004 onward Vin RD 620549. However there is a problem getting the SRS light operati ng correctly.
Any thoughts

I saw all post about this subjet, but i dont found the HOW TO for fix this problem
I have a 2004 TF160, and i installed a LE500 Cluster, Speedo, Speedometer, Clock, Dash, or instrument (where ever you named) and the problem is that the Airbag or SRS light Stays ON, i saw that the problem is the signal from SRS module, and the solve is a resistor.
BUT I DONT FOUND HOW TO MAKE THIS RESISTOR ADAPTATION...
CAN ANYBODY HELP ME????

To overcome a missing airbag, you need to connect a 3 ohm resistor across the wires that go to the airbag. Well on a MG-Rover manufactured TF anyway. I cannot see the airbag modules being any different on a later Chinese model so would think that the same value should fool the SCU into thinking that the airbag is connected. I am thinking that the connections may be different and that the airbag module is connected in a different way. What is needed is a wiring diagram from a LE500 model so it can be compared to a MG-R made TF and see what the differences are.
If it was my car, I would be preferring a working airbag, over a different instrument cluster!
