Exhaust brackets and rubbers

Exhaust brackets and rubbers was created by davidgv1

purchased OE exhaust hanger brackets and rubbers as the original rubber had perished and the exhaust was hanging low on the near side.
However, I notice that the rubbers do not sit well in the brackets!
Any body else noticed this?

Yep. I did the same job last weekend and discovered the same thing you are seeing, that the rubber does fit to the bracket.

I guess they'll fit if bolted to the subframe.

I should have said that the rubber does not fit closely to the bracket. (I don't seem to be able to edit my original post)

Yes I've made mistakes in a post a few times and when I've tried to edit...I to noticed if someone else posted it would stop any editing of the post and have to repost with a explanation
