How to upgrade to a PRT?

Good evening everyone, i am hoping you can point me in the right direction.

I have just purchased a 2001 MGF (non vvc) and am in the process of changing the HG and overhauling the cooling system (new alloy rad, stainless pipes) and i am wondering what is needed to upgrade to the PRT version thermostat, and is it worth doing?

I have tried the search function and all i can find is how to renew the PRT and not how to retrofit one.

Please can you provide any information that will help me along with this.

The last post shows the alterations to the hoses between the engine and the underfloor metal pipes.

The original thermostat is replaced with a blanking ring.

If you check out Rimmer Bros website you can buy the p.r.t conversion with hoses.
