VVC Oil temperature sensor
Hi.
I got MGF VVC 145HP '99 year with MEMS2J ECU.
Rev limiter is stuck for around 5700RPM and that chinese T300+ diagnostic tells me Oil temperature sensor low voltage. I'm sure it is not that one for gauge cos it works well. So it will be 2nd one on VVC HCU. But I'm not able to find OEM number to order new one.
Do you know guys, it is the same like 2nd one near oil filter ?
Unfortunately, in my country nobody got better diagnostic tool and also the only service what is servicing these small cars don't have any and unfortunately now also any VVC cars, to swap sensor and test it...
This weekend I will also check that sensor itself, it's resistance and if the cable it not broken, but would be nice to got prepared 2nd option.

Firstly,
:welcome2:
Check that the the brown and black plugs haven't been mixed up. It's easily done and results in a low rev limit.

Yes, I know about this mistake.
But I think older MEMS 2J got it set this way.
Or this site can be helpful
I think you sent photo of MEMS 3 VVC engine, what got more differences.
