Tyre time again

Hi,
Sorry to be a tyre bore, but my tyre supplier tells me that Falken ZE914's have been phased out, being replaced by ZE310's. Roxy's on 16" rims so she needs 215 40 R16's. Has anyone experience of these spec tyres in that size please?
I'm loath to try Toyo's again, as last time I did Roxy was so unsettled/dangerous, I took them off after a couple of hundred miles. As such therefore, I'm in a bit of a quandary as to what tyres to go with now.

On the basis of this I've ordered ZE310's for Roxy's rears, leaving the 'proper' Toyos on the front. I'll let you know how she behaves with that mix...

I read somewhere (it might have been here) that the Falken ZE310 had been recommended by the MGOC. I am not a member so I cannot confirm. Also, I'm not sure whether that was for the MGF or MG TF or both. Sorry, this probably doesn't help at all, does it!
