No I mean the bell crank.

The roll pin is out and the old bell crank is off. I am trying to fit the new one.

Clean up the shaft with emery paper, check for any burrs and mushrooming at the end of the shaft, these will need careful attention with a file, clean thoroughly afterwards and assemble with antisieze

Thanks Cobber. I didn't think it should need a club hammer to get it on.

So I spent 10 minutes cleaning up the inside of the crank with a 10mm "needle" file and she slides on good and easy.
