HELP!!! Seat problem....
Evening everyone,
So I recently got a tf 160, it's in fairly good condition but there are a few bits I'm looking at/tidying up.
The driver seat sits a bit too low and I found out why today. Underneath the bottom of the seat there is an elastic strap which supports you. Mine had snapped so you just sink to the floor.
I've searched online and can't find anyone else talking about this and really don't want to have to buy a whole new seat.
Any ideas???????
Cheers
Ian

Perfect thank you so much!!
I have just purchased this.
The rubber is split down the entire length so this looks like the only way.
Guessing the seat will have to come out to be able to do this!
Thanks again

The seat comes out with 4 bolts - you need a Torx T-50 bit to remove them. The webbing support can be replaced without needing to remove the seat upholstery - but you will need to disconnect the seatbelt pretensioners.
As they're explosive (same as the airbag), it's wise to disconnect the battery and leave the car for a good 10+ minutes to let the SRS system discharge before unplugging them.
