help please - bracket on inlet throttle body area/Cyl Head

Gooday Everyone,
Thank you for this awesome forum,
I'm new to MG's , not new to car fixing ......However...
I live in South Africa and my daughter has bought a 2003 MG TF 135.
not bad nick , but a bit neglected in its past.

Having a spot of difficulty reassembling the two little brackets on the gearbox end of the head , that hold the big rectangular electrical socket that connects the throttle body wiring etc and sits under the throttle body.

when I took it off to remove the water piping , it popped off the plug before I had a chance to see how the two metal brackets fitted together when bolted onto the head across the end of the camshaft end...
I've put it in place to get the car up and running , but it doesn't look right to me- I cant seem to find a decent picture- but have attached the best I have found

Hi and welcome to the forum.

What a lucky daughter you have ;)

If you push the 2 halves of the plug together there is a lever that pulls down to lock them together.

Under the community tab at the top of the page you'll find downloads, in there you'll find a selection of electrical manuals and wiring diagrams.
