I am not sure how to proceed I am looking to replace the clutch on my 2003 mgtf. It has done 67000 miles and as far as I know, it's still as from new.
Whilst I have the engine out to fit a replacement gearbox (because of a hole in the bell housing)I thought it might be prudent to replace the clutch at the same time. However, I wonder what the thinking is on Quinton Hazel and Borg & Beck clutches. They both seem to be at a very reasonable price
Are they still what I remember the band as or have they been swallowed up into the mire of unknown brands now?
I am working on a budget and was also looking at replacing coolant pipes as well, such as the two heater ones and pipes from the stainless underfloor pipes to the engine.
