Cooling System
My radiator is in poor condition on my 2003 TF and will need to be replaced shortly. I'm looking at replacing the cooling pipes at the same time for stainless steel ones.
What other jobs would you recommend that I look at while the cooling system is drained and in bits? The water pump was replaced not long before I bought the car along with the cam belt.
Also, are there any recommendations as to the best place to buy a radiator from?
Thanks in advance
Mark

I have a 23 year old MGF, owned from new.
No problems ever with cooling but I try and do replacement in advance of encountering problems (ie getting stuck on the side of the road)
1. Replace all hoses (not cheap)
2. Replace thermostat (inexpensive)
On the radiator, go alu. Mine came from Mike Satur 15 years ago. I assume Rimmer have alu replacements as well.

Thanks Julian,
I'm going to look at the hoses to see what condition they are in.
I was also thinking the thermostat, I believe that I have the newer type, but I'll need to check.
Mike Satur doesn't appear to do radiators any more, looking at the website.
