Hi everybody, I have a Steptronic 2002 MGF which has a Trim Code WEW.
Its interior has a lot of chrome details, including the Center Console.
I wanted to know if this arrangement is original or it has been modified by other owners.
I love my beautiful MGF.

Haven't seen it myself but I wouldn't want one. Dazzling reflections flashing in my eyes would not be welcome. There's a reason why most racing cars have matt black panels but to each their own; enjoy your MG.

If you check here for WEW it tells you the seat and trim details but unfortunately not the console details, I presume you would need the build sheet for a definitive answer BL Heritage ? MGOC ?

A chrome centre console is not standard, in any of the cars , silver maybe. WEW is a standard trim colour Its Black Mirage Fabric/Leather (1.6 is all fabric)

Thanks for your answer, maybe silver is a more suitable word to define this colour.
Can you tell me if there was any MGF model that was equipped with this colour?

It would be helpful if you took a happy snap of it and posted the pic on here to help us identify it.
Having said that, my guess is that you're talking about alloy bezel rings around the heating/aircon knobs and the gauges, they're an aftermarket item, I have them on my car, they give the poverty pack, cheap and nasty, spartan look a big lift.

Thanks for your answer.
Looking at the snap, do you think that this center console and some parts from the interior were painted, or was there a factory combination for this arrangement?

Oh! Great news, as I’m trying to restore my MG to it's the original arrangement.
Do you know what model is it, or where can I find this information?
