Hood fixings
I have recently bought a TF160 but have been having an issue with rain leaking. Whilst doing some running repairs on the hood fixing at the rear I noticed that the hood has been attached on the inside of the hood frame. This is surely wrong as water will then run into the cab.
See pic.
Can anyone confirm that this is wrong before I change it to outside of frame

The rear of the hood fits into a drain channel around the back of the cab, in front of the boot lid. If you release the 5 (I think) rear hood clips inside the car, you can lift the rear of the hood up and forward and you will see what I mean. You will probably need to release the front clips first. This is also how you get to the engine cover.

If you look at
this video from MG Mania
on fitting a new roof, you can see quite clearly how the roof attaches to the frame at the back at 11m 41s.
