Luggage rack keys

I've recently acquired an original luggage rack complete with locks and a single key. I've read that these were allegedly made by Thule and consequently Thule keys can be bought as replacements. However the key I have has a four digit number 99xx, and an Internet search doesn't bring up any Thule keys numbered in this format. I happen to have a Thule roof rack of similar vintage and the keys for that are a different shape and numbered Nxxx.

Before I take the lock and key to Timpsons does anyone know if these keys can be bought on the Internet by number?

The Thule rack on mine came without keys, I came up with another way of using it without using the locks, they're still fitted, I just didn't bother with them.
Who's gonna pinch it.......wont fit anything else. I'll have to have a look to remind myself how i did it.
I only use it to carry the spare tyre, when I use the front compartment for luggage.
Better the spare gets wet than my clothes, when it rains.

Probably cheaper from Timpsons.

If you have a key, thats all you need to take to get a duplicate(s) made.:yesnod:

So went to the local independent key cutting shop £6.50 so job done.
